Help us on the farm!

We harvest lavender in June/July,  Pick fruits & vegetables from spring till fall. In autumn there is our olive harvest, chestnut foraging and truffel hunt. You are very welcome to participate. 

Hiking and Walking along Ancient Footpaths

The only way to truly appreciate the natural beauty of this region is to explore it by foot.  Walk along ancient “Via Romea” which has been used by pilgrims since roman times and take in the spectacular views  and charming villages on the way. With more than 200 km of trails we are an great destination for hikers and walkers alike. 

Cycling

We have the hills that will challenge your legs.  Even a former Tour De France winner has admitted to their difficulty.   We have route maps with different degrees of difficulty, ideal for a week or weekend of fitness training.  

Golf

There are three golf courses nearby.  Golf Club Bologna (18 holes), Mt. Cimone Golf Cub (9 holes) and Modena Golf & Country Club (18 holes).  

Cars

Our region is full of attractions for car enthusiasts.  In nearby  Maranello you can visit the Ferrari museum and test drive a Ferrari. There is also the Enzo Ferrari museum in Modena that showcases a wide range of Italian sports and luxury cars.   The Umberto Panini Classic Car Collection showcases vintage Maserati cars in Modena, by appointment only. In Bologna there is the Ducati museum and Lamborghini museum.
